How to Apply

Candidates can apply for admission at BUGEMA UNIVERSITY, P. O. Box 6529 Kampala - Uganda only through Online mode.
Submission of Online Application Form may be exclusively done through the college website, www.bugemauniv.ac.ug
Online submission of Application Form should include uploaded photograph and required documents.
Application number will be generated only for online payment. For cash payments at College / Bank Deposit, application number will be generated upon payment.
Validity of application of payment, either as cash at College or Bank Deposit will be for 72 hours from the time of submission.
Only application with application number will be considered for the admission process.
Service/Processing charges & GST during online payment mode are to be paid by the candidate, as applicable.
Correction in the particulars of the online application form can only be made before final submission. No corrections shall be allowed under any circumstances after the submission of application.
The application form other than online mode will not be accepted, at any case.
Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the college website.
Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be disqualified.
Candidates must ensure that e-mail address and mobile number provided in the Online Application Form are their own as all information/ communication will be sent by the college through Email to the Email-ID or SMS to the given mobile number only.

Eligibility Norms for UG Aided Programmes

For admission to Under Graduate Programmes (UG) a candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations of Tamil Nadu or an examination (like the CBSE) recognised by the Universities as equivalent thereto. Admission should be made based on the +2 marks only. Ranking will be based on marks in Part III out of 400 except for B.A. Tamil & B.A. English.

3	B.A. History	Preference should be given to concerned subject studied. 20% reserved for vocational stream
4	B.Com.	Should have studied Commerce and Accountancy in HSC 20% reserved for vocational stream
5	B.Com. CA
6	B.Sc. Mathematics	Should have studied Mathematics
7	B.Sc. Physics	Should have studied Mathematics & Physics
8	B.Sc. Chemistry	Should have studied Mathematics & Chemistry
9	B.Sc. Botany	Should have studied Chemistry compulsorily (for Botany, Zoology, Biology students)
10	B.Sc. Computer Science	2/3 of seats reserved for students who have studied Computer science as a subject in plus two and 1/3 of seats is for students who have not studied computer science in plus two and should have studied Mathematics.

Eligibility Norms for PG Aided Programmes

For admission to Post Graduate Programmes (PG) a candidate must have passed three year degree courses (under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern) recognized by the University. For admission to all PG Programmes, the qualifying examination marks in Part III (Major and Allied) alone shall be taken into consideration.

Eligibility Norms For PG Self-Financed Programmes
